How can I remove a recessed bolt that has the ball from the tip of an allen wrench broken off in the head?
You'll need a really good drill bit and an easy-out. Buy an easy-out with the correct size drill for the bolt you want to remove. Drill the hole in the shaft of the bolt and twist the easy-out into the hole. The easy-out will be left threaded, so screw it in the same direction you would normally be removing any bolt, which is counter-clockwise. It will snug up, then keep turning till the bolt comes loose.

How do you use a dart wrench on steel tips?
One came in my dart set, and I haven't been able to figure out how to use it.
The most common use with your dart wrench on steel tips is to tighten the shafts with the small pointed end (through the hole in the shaft) or to use the fin end to open up the tines of the shaft to give you more room to put the flights on.
How to get the tip of 5mm metric allen wrench that broke off in an allen nut on BMW speed sensor?
I purchased an interior made in China allen wrench. The Auto Parts store I went to only had Chinese which I am totally against because their lack of quality but I bought it in a pinch. As I expected, the inferior Chinese product failed. It was a rounded type head allen wrench. The head is now stuck in the female part of the allen screw and it is hard to get to...not easy to work with.
Any suggestions on how to remove this broken piece?
sometimes a scratch awl when used to dislodge the tool piece by turning in the opposite direction allows it to freely move, and then a strong magnet
Faucet has buildup - likely from hard water at the tip. Water sprays in multiple directions. How to fix?
The kitchen faucet is a Moen. Is there a way to remove that tip and soak it to remove the build up or replace it? I'm not very handy and dont' want to take a wrench to it and destroy the faucet. Thanks!
Calcium build up is common on the aerator. As more water is run through the faucet, minerals and calcium, are left behind. The tip about vinegar is good for external build up, but you should disassemble the aerator, to remove any grit and gunk from inside the faucet. There is a product called "The Works", and it costs $1 at Big Lots. Just spray it on, and the exterior deposits will wash off. Good luck!
